We are just over a week away from the opening of the Summer Sundae Weekender gates! And our limited allocation of camping tickets is running low with just 100 places left, so get yours now before we sell out of them!
With exactly three weeks to go until the campsite gates open for Summer Sundae Weekender 2012 we're getting excited and what with the glorious weather getting everyone in the mood, we're sure you'll want to start planning your weekend as soon as possible. To help you plan your festival we've just released this year's stage times. Simply visit each artist's profile on the line up page to find out what time they are playing, on which stage and on which day.
We're excited to announce that we're topping off the already stellar Summer Sundae 2012 line up with three final additions to the bill…
Talented singer songwriter and Mercury Prize nominee ED HARCOURT will be joining the Drowned In Sound bill on Sunday 19th August and all girl four piece SAVAGES will be entertaining crowds in De Montfort Hall's Crocodile's Lagoon with their exciting, indestructible sound on Saturday 18th August.
DARK DARK HORSE will also be kicking off the festival on Friday 17th August after being announced by the BBC's Dean Jackson on his radio show 'The Beat' as winners of a local competition to open the Main Stage at this year's Summer Sundae Weekender.
We are very excited to announce that we have teamed up with itslearning to provide a fantastic free Music Delta app to all schools in the Leicestershire region!
Music Delta is a brand new web-based learning experience that enables students to use technology to experience, explore, create, share and save music.
Datarock, who are also performing at this year's Summer Sundae, provided the music for the app! This is a great opportunity for students attending the festival to see the band live after having interacted with their music at school.

We're very excited to be venturing further into the night at this year's Summer Sundae, with the 'Crocodile's Lagoon' indoors at De Montfort Hall staying open until 1am on Friday and Saturday, and after midnight on Sunday this year.
And keeping you moving during these times we've got an amazing line-up of DJs and live acts.
On Friday you will be in very safe hands with our new local friends Superfly and DBE presenting the brilliant duo Jack Beats alongside Metronomy's own Olugbenga, plus Jake Twell and Superfly Residents.
And on Saturday we are very happy to announce in line with our Safari theme the brilliant Kigu Crew will be hosting a special Pop-Up Rave-Up indoors at the Lagoon, with the finest DJs, Kigu giveaways and other surprises in store! All our welcome and fancy dress encouraged!
And of course not to forget Sunday which will see the return of festival favourites Drowned in Sound with a stellar line-up including Stay+ and Gold Panda finishing the night.
And that's not even the half of it! Hope to see you there…

Summer Sundae Day Tickets will be on sale tomorrow from 9am.
As with our Weekend Tickets, we are pegging these back to 2010 prices, with an Adult Friday ticket costing £35, and Adult tickets for Saturday and Sunday at £45 each.
Plus this year there are discounts for Young Persons (14-17) with Friday costing £25, and Saturday and Sunday £30 each.
Also as usual we have discounted Child Tickets (5-13), this year at £12 for the Friday and £15 for the Saturday or Sunday.
