Prepare to throw some shapes in a Tarantino style as North Wales residents Y Niwl bring their fantastic brand of post 'surf' rock to this year's festival. This four piece have reinvented the wild thrill of instrumental American surf guitar of the late 50's, a genre made famous by legends such as Dick Dale, Link Wray and The Shadows, with Y Niwl throwing some groovy organ in to boot. Their name bizarrely translates from the original Welsh as The Fog. Support has come from fellow countryman Gruff Rhys.
