Patrick Wolf (Acoustic set)

Since 2002 Patrick Wolf has consistently been one of the most interesting artists the UK has to offer. Over 5 albums he's remained passionate and true to his own vision which that has seen him embrace a host of styles and approaches from folk and classical to electronica and avant garde, whilst never forgetting a strong pop sensibility.

Wolf has had a happy knack for writing moving, intelligent, often very personal songs from 2003's excellent Lycanthropy (whose Brixton cover perfectly displays his South London roots) through to last year's anthemic, uplifting Lupercalia which included BBC Radio 2 favourites The City and House. He's a bold and inventive arranger to boot, using his own ukulele, piano and viola playing along with a healthy appetite for sampling and modern production to provide a unique backing for his modern day torch song.

Brilliant live, Wolf is renown for his intense delivery which has seen him go down a storm at Glastonbury in recent years. Visually striking, his aesthetic is unselfconscious with a pretention that is both arty and playful. Summer Sundae is excited to welcome him to the festival for the first time with a special acoustic performance.
