Kyte are a band from Leicestershire who are described as ambient/electro/pop. Their debut sigle was released back in 2007, the b-side of which was used on a trailer for the HBO series 'The Sopranos' in the USA. 2010 Album 'Dead Waves' charted in the top 10 in Japan and landed the band a large following in Asia. Kyte have played various festivals including Latitude UK, Summer Sonic Japan, Midi Fest China, Hohaiyan Rock fest Taiwan and Kurt Fest Germany as well as touring Europe, UK and Asia. Bands they have supported in the past include The Joy Formidable, Iliketrains, Mew, Maps & School of Seven Bells. A new EP, the first new music since 2010 is planned for a summer release followed by a new ful length album in the Autumn of 2012.
