Original Bands Showcase 2012 finalists, FURIES are Alex Beattie (Vocals and Guitar), Neal Hill (Drums), Luke Foster (Guitar) and Matt Wright (Bass Guitar) from Leicester. Angry, emotive, and original, the band are influenced their love of indie, rock, grunge and punk, Their debut CD, realesed in Jan 2011 was described as a ''tightly executed set of highly passionate songs that has got it all: exhilarating guitar riffs, a mountain of feverish drumming and commanding vocals. It's all about the high octane rock sounds that the Furies master so well'' (Arts In Leicestershire). Furies have just played in Leicesters Original Bands Showcase Final, and plan to record their 2nd CD before Autumn. One of the most exciting up and coming bands in Leicester this year, FURIES are playing Summer Sundae for the first time, and are not to be missed.
