Clock Opera

Clock Opera has been the musical guise of London based multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer Guy Connelly since 2009. His excellent debut single White Noise set the template, appealing in both it's crooning pop and it's avant garde electronica sounding like Morrissey's younger brother backed by Moby

Clock Opera has become a full band over the last three years which gives Guy's songs the full spectrum they're craving. Island records are releasing the much anticipated debut album Ways To Forget this April. Guys courageous vocal range and sensitive delivery is ably assisted by a top musical backdrop, like the epic throbbing bass groove of Lesson No. 7, the piano led melodic Belongings and the stomping electro of Man Made. It's clear to see he's taken his love of samples and loops and married it to glittering, unabashed, anthemic popular rock which are going to sound spectacular in a vast festival setting. Guy has also been hard at work remixing Marina and The Diamonds and Everything Everything. Big things await.
