Here we have a brand new collective making bright, shiny new sounds for 2012. Effortlessly mixing out there synths, female vocals, rap and classical quartet to create something utterly captivating and unique. Title track from this year's EP UK Shanty is a great example of what their about, it has a plaintive classical beginning which bursts into chilled out, glitchy electronica and forlorn vocals. The video is incredible too with suitably weird seafaring action featuring model Lily Cole. Singles like Mozarts House and Telephone Banking set the template for fun, experimental pop skulduggery. Radio 1's sonic radar Huw Stephens is a fan, recently featuring them in session.
