Date: Fri, 26 May 2017 - Sat, 17 Jun 2017
Venue: LCB Depot, Leicester
In the late 1980s and early 1990s something strange was happening. Early Virtual Reality and Internet were combining with house music, neo-psychedelia and cyberpunk fiction to produce a cultural movement that would herald the new hyperconnected world. Cyberculture: The Beginning of the Modern World is a exhibition of material from this era that explores this brave new world from the perspective of those who were there.
26th May - Opening night to coincide with Canteen at the LCB Depot.
27th May - "Virtual Saturday" Retro Video Games.
17th June - "Phorward" featuring Higher Intelligence Agency and the Oscillate Sound System.
Exhibition materials have been obtained from many unique sources and form part of the Nemeton Cyberculture Archive.
