Arduino Beginners Course

Arduino Beginners Course

Date: Sat, 19 Mar 2016, 11:00 - 17:00

Venue: Leicester Hackspace, Leicester

Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for artists, designers, hobbyists and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.

Our Introduction to Arduino Workshop will get you up an running with this exciting technology, showing you how to program the device and make simple electronic circuits. The course fee includes a complete Arduino kit containing an Arduino UNO, LEDs, a motors, prototyping board and other components, all in a neat little box for you to take home with you afterwards. There are soo many bits to the kits that we will not be able to go through all of it, but we are all happy to teach you more after the course.

All participants will need to bring a laptop (Mac/PC/Linux) to program with. If you have the time, please install the Arduino IDE from the arduino.cc before the course (don't worry, we can help you get it all setup on the course if you need).

A limited number of computers can be provided. Please let us know in advance if you need us to supply one.
