Event | 'Pogo' Digital Arts Workshop

On Thursday and Friday I ran a two day digital arts workshop with interactive media artist Ricard Gras. It formed part of a series of workshops being run by Leicester Council as part of their 'Pogo' series of events.

During the two-day session we created a simple, but effective piece of work based around the faces of the 7 workshop participants.

A Max/MSP/Jitter patch was created that allows a composite image of their faces to be animated by moving in front of a video camera. As this animation runs a soundtrack of the workshop participants talking about faces is played. It works well.

The work can be seen at an exhibition of all Pogo projects on Wednesday 22nd June at DeMontfort Hall from 4pm to 9pm.
