Andy Barrett has collected stories and memories from elderly inhabitants of the city. Meeting Boxers, Pawnbrokers, Lace Workers, Prostitutes and A Very Sensible Lady, he has created a series of quirky monologues which mix intriguing detail from Nottingham's past with a cast of surreal and bizarre characters. Andy Barrett is one of Nottingham's most exciting young writers.
