 In the workshops, the young people learnt a variety of painting techniques. These included: how to mix different colours in acrylic and poster paint, stippling, sponging, scratching into wet paint, stencilling, dry painting, colour washes, oil pastel and wax resist.
Stamping out shapes proved to be very popular as well as puff pens! We also looked at using a wide variety of different materials, using everything from tissue and crepe paper, fabric, beads, paper collage, sequins, ribbon, buttons, pipe-cleaners, and of course, GLITTER! |
