Following the successful publication of the "Selected poems of Kazi Nazrul Islam" in 1998 by the Bangladesh Youth and Cultural Shomiti to mark Nazrul birth centenary, we are now pleased to present our second anthology - Rabindranath Tagore Selected Songs - Beyond Melody. The Bengali scholar Syed Mujibul Huq translated both projects. These two bilingual works form a valuable "CONFLUENCE” which, we hope, will bring lasting pleasure to both Bengali and English readers.
