A STUNNING COLLECTION OF PAINTING Punk roared out of England in the late 70's and within
a few years, similar scenes existed around the world. Like the early
60's British invasion, punk was as much about a look as a music. No
one was more influential in creating and propagating that look than
Gee Vaucher. As the resident artist/designer for the legendary band
Crass, her work became identified with both the band and with punk
itself, imitated by the movement and ripped off by the mainstream. |
