Micro-controllers

Our Micro-controller work looks to educate people in the creative use of micro-controllers and low-cost computers such as the Arduino and Raspberry Pi. We are particularly interested in how these devices can be used in digital artworks.
Interact Labs has a wide selection of micro-controllers and associated hardware, such as cameras and sensors, motors and LED lighting. We also have a growing portfolio of example projects that we have created as part of art installations and similar activities.
We run regular micro-controller workshops at Interact Labs, particularly ones focused around the Arduino platform. If you want to join a community of people interested in these technologies then Leicester Hackspace runs a regular Arduino group that meets on Thursday nights at the Hackspace on Rutland St.
