Interactive Lighting with Arduino Workshop @ Phoenix

Date: Sat, 04 Oct 2014, 13:00 - 16:30
Venue: Phoenix Interact Labs
£45 per attendee, includes an Arduino and LED pixel strip to take away.
LED 'pixels' are strings of full-colour lights that you can individually control using a low-cost computer like an Arduino. You will learn how to wire up the lights and write simple programs to control them. Design you own Xmas tree lights, make a binary display, invent a simple game or create a mood lamp. The course comes complete with a kit to take away.
Kit includes: Arduino Nano with USB cable; breadboard, wiring and push to make switches; an LED pixel strip and other components.
You will need to bring a laptop (Mac/PC/Linux). Some Arduino experience would be useful, although is not essential.
Please report to the reception at Phoenix 5 minutes before the start of the workshop.
Book via the Phoenix Box Office.
