Serendipity after Cybernetic (London)

Date: Fri, 24 Oct 2014, 15:00 - 17:00
Venue: Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA)
Cybernetic Serendipity was one of the most (if not the most) important exhibitions in the development of digital arts. Held in 1968 at the ICA, it featured seminal work by many artists and led directly to the establishment of the Computer Arts Society.
This event will include a panel discussing the long-term outcomes of Cybernetic Serendipity, to link with the current exhibition at the ICA. Panel members include Janis Jefferies, Jonathan Benthall, Brent MacGregor and Bronac Ferran, chaired by Nick Lambert.
