Flossie Leicester Meeting

In collaboration with Interact Labs, and supported by Flossie (Women and Open Source/Open Culture), the Institute of a Creative Technologies is inviting women to join the network Flossie Leicester. This is open to ALL curious women thinking about, working and creating with technologies and creating technologies in any area, practice or discipline, based in and around Leicester. This is open to academics and non-academics, artists, business women, coders, weavers, writers, film makers, colourists, educators, bloggers, twitterers, philosophers, listeners, designers, stitchers, sculptors, memory keepers and distributors, performers, improvisers, musicians, dancers, composers, de-composers, and gamers, amongst other many creative people.
This project follows the Athena SWAN Charter which recognises commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) employment in academia. With Interact Lab we are aiming to bring the space for STEAMM, including A for Arts.Please come along to have a drink, and share your experience in life and technology with other women.
