Trajectory

Date: Fri, 08 Nov 2013 - Sat, 09 Nov 2013

Venue: Embrace Arts

What does space sound like?

An innovative new installation at Embrace Arts, by multi-media composer Andrew Williams, gives a tantalising response to this question.

Trajectory, Andrew's multi speaker audio installation, uses sound and data from space, recorded by spacecraft satellites and long wave radio.

The production, which also uses multi-screen video projections and still images, will develop over two days, presenting an artist's perspective of Earth, space, current research and future challenges for humanity.

Visitors can view Trajectory, free of charge, between 10am and 5pm on 8 and 9 November at Embrace Arts, Richard Attenborough Centre, Lancaster Road, Leicester LE1 7HA.

A programme of events is taking place to accompany Trajectory, full details can be found on www.embracearts.co.uk or by calling the box office on 0116 252 2455.

Andrew Williams is the Leverhulme Artist in Residence at the University of Leicester's Space Research Centre.
