Inspired by Leicester's UK City of Culture 2017 bid, Light the Night is a free outdoor festival with something for everyone: a huge interactive digital firework display controlled by the crowd; stunning animations brought to life on the walls of a city street; children's theatre; artist's workshops; a street market; and bands playing long into the night.
