Let your imagination run wild in this brilliant workshop for children. Learn how to create your own video game using a simple computer programme called Scratch and turn everyday objects – such as bananas - into computer controllers with the weird and wonderful MaKey MaKey kit.
Scratch is a programming environment that is easy to use and created with children in mind. Create and share your own interactive stories, games, music and art! Scratch is free to use at home, so your kids can carry on using their new skills after the workshops have finished
MaKey MaKey is a DIY hardware kit that lets you turn anything into a controller.
Codasign in partnership with Phoenix will be running two Scratch + MaKey MaKey workshops for children and their parents: a morning session with 6-9 year olds (10-12.30pm) and an afternoon one with 9-12 year olds (2-5pm).
