Sofalofa live at the National Space Centre, Leicester // Saturday 18.03.06. Auxilec presents a specially commissioned live performance of Sofalofasdebut album Mellifluous, in collaboration with visual artist Sean Clark of Cuttlefish Digital Arts.
Presented in 5.1 surround sound in the Space Centre's planetarium, Sofalofa (Chris Cousin) will be composing cinematic ambientsoundscapes using a combination of electronic sounds, field recordings and classical instruments. Performing with Sofalofa will be electronic musician Stuart Smith (Bathysphere) and one of the UKs leading electroacoustic artists, John Richards (Kreepa, Sand). Sean Clark will be projecting live video onto a 360 degree cinema screen immerse the audience in a unique live audiovisual experience.

Travel : The First Leicester Number 54 Yellow Line bus stops on Abbey Lane, a short walk from the Space Centre. The bus can be picked up opposite Leicester railway station or in the City Centre on Charles Street and on Belgrave Gate. The journey takes about 10 minutes and costs around £1.20.
