7.30-11pm - BJ COLE & CHIN CHIN LIVE @ PHOENIX ARTS
Bathysphere take over Phoenix for our first moving-image-meets-electronic-music microfestival. Featuring a stunning multi-media cast, slide guitar legend BJ Cole and Bathysphere's own Chin Chin are both playing cinematic live sets accompanied by hi-power projections in the main auditorium.De Montfort University post grad student Peter Wilkinson will be unveiling PLASMA, an installation that utilises video tracking, body sonification and interactivity techniques in the café area. Leading edge lo_tempo electronica DJs will prevail in the Bar.And what's all this about an after show party?
11pm-4am - AFTERSHOW PARTY @ ATTIK provided by PVC, headlining BENT
Rather appropriately the party will be augmented by BJ Cole collaborators BENT, Djing their inimitable, gooey electronic sounds late into the night. The full menu, spread across two floors consists of:
1st Floor - BENT, EDDIE23 & STEVE MORGAN
Ground Floor - MYOPTIK & JAMMY-GEE
And it's completely free for those who pay to see the main event at the Phoenix! Simply present your Phoenix ticket at the door and the whole session of PVC's trademark Global Dub-Inflected Funkatronix will be open for you to delight in, all within the walls of PVC's familiar home… The Attik.
