With rave UK press and at the start of sessions for the debut release on Universal Egg Ism's star would seem to be in the ascendant. Based in Liverpool 8 and dealing in an awesome brand of live TechnoPunk Ism are gaining fans wherever they travel. Their ideas though extend beyond the immediate rush of parties and gigs as they explain.

'Over the past two years we have been collecting and collating information with the intention of processing it into a far more user-friendly medium, which will cross linguistic barriers and lay to rest almost all similar methods in use at the moment, through its intensity and diversity. Our current agenda is to initially leak this information to those involved in the creative industries and at all other levels when the time is rlght.

Right here and now, a complete redefinition of past ideas, old boundaries tossed away like they never existed ! This is the 1990's-the end of an old era is upon us, and with it time itself will take a back seat against the new flow of ideas and information.

Don't cling on to the retro-this is futro!

The new fusion is happening- make sure you are part of the next evolutionary step!'

Ism have already taken their awesome live experience to literally thousands of people. Everywhere from the Que club, Birmingham & Voodoo, Liverpool to Finsbury Park and the Rocket in London last year to the most isolated locations in the Welsh hills, playing alongside acts like Loop Guru, Timeshard, LTJ Bukem, dj Food, Zion Train and the many others Ism always rock the house.

Ism have been well supported by Radio One's John Peel, who is an avowed fan and a session is on its way.

Recent releases include an April 1997 re-release of the classic 12" 'Turtle Z' on I-Shen Records and remixes of the new Mulu single through V2 Records.

The future looks good for the lads from Ism.
