'Disability Direct is a Disability Information and Advice service for people in the Derby area. We have a wide variety of information on topics such as benefits, orange badges, insurance, employment, access etc.. We also have in operation a Housing Register of Accessible Accommodation which aims to make the search for housing less of a struggle for disabled people. Our premises are fully accessible and our hours of opening are 9am to 5pm every weekday so come in and browse through our display section or just pop in for a chat on general disability issues.'
Disability Direct is a fully accessible disability information and advice service for people in Derby. The car park to the rear of the business centre has designated spaces for disabled people.
Our computer database holds detailed information on a wide variety of equipment, so if you need anything from a wheelchair to a cup holder we can provide you with a list of whatÕs available and where it can be obtained.
We also stock a large selection of benefits leaflets and application forms. If you require help completing an application form, we would be happy to assist. Our library holds many useful reference books, on holidays, sources of funding, and so on.
We also offer a volunteering opportunities. If you wish to gain extra skills, work experience, or just help out, please get in touch.

You are welcome to drop in and look through our wide selection of books and leaflets, or speak to our Information Manager and Housing and Information Officer who can give you advice on any of your disability related enquiries.
We produce a free, bi-monthly, newsletter which is available in standard print, large print, and on cassette in English and other languages (on request).
An interpreter is available to help with your enquiry, by appointment.
