"My work reflects me, constructed from an ever expanding picture base. It incorporates my personal belief that the image is the primary concern. All the conceptualising in the world will not change how those flickering dots of phosphorous on your screen work. When they glow and present to you the images that I have produced they represent the end of the machine and the beginning of the mind....or do they? Where do the bounderies of the abstract and figurative go whem computers ate involved in art. All the forms, shapes, planes, planes and textures are all reduced to the Bit-Map. There in the ether, floating at the speed of light lies the minute mathematical algorithms and formulas that define a world running parallel to ours. But is it so? Think of the eye. There in the myriad nerve ending lies the image. Cells fire, tiny electrical signals are sent along the conduits of the body to that mythical place called the mind/soul. Is ART the expression of the soul, I wonder?"
