Sept 94 Signals Festival of Women Photographers
Three month commission involved with working with women from three ex mining communities: Blidworth, Chesterfield and Rosliston on participatory photographic workshops.

Worked on a group installation with Her Camera Has WIngs, (Women's Photography Group)
FREE LANCE: CURRENT AND ONGOING EXAMPLES
Ironville Project: Employed by Amber Valley Council to produce large advertisements of Ironville with a young women's group.
Picture Yourself: Commissioned by Derby Community Arts to encourage local people to create their own photographic portrait.
Digital Imaging: Employed by Arbor Darkrooms, Derby to run a one day workshop exploring self identity using creative photography and digital imaging.
Big City Bash 95: Supported Sunny Hill Youth Group Derby. The group produced a series of portraits in response to the theme Roots/Routes. Employed by Derby Community Arts.
Being a Girl: A creative and challenging workshop for young women. Employed by the Integrated Deaf Group Derby, Melbourne Youth Centre and Burton on Trent Asian Women's Group.
Fantasy Workshop: Creative and fun workshop exploring self and cultural identity. Employed by Bannerly Field Special School, Stoke on Trent Gallery, Noel Baker Phab Club and Ockbook Youth Centre.
B&W Photo Course: Ran a programme of beginners courses. Employed by Derby Community Arts, Apna Youth Centre, Women's Art Festival, Derby Creative Arts Workshop and Derby Youth Centre.
Cyanotype Course: Ran several workshops demonstrating the blue historical process. Employed by Angel Row Gallery, Notts, and Derby Community Arts.
Childrens Workshop: Providing creative photography workshops for young people (7-16 yrs). Organisations: Derby Community Arts, Derby Art Gallery and Angel Row Gallery, Notts, The Site Gallery, Sheffield, and Fleet Art, Belper.
Derby Photo Festival: Produced a series of large scale black and white portraits in conjunction with Derby Youth Center as part of the Beyond the Portrait (Derby Photography Festival, 1992.)
SKILLS ANALYSIS
I have experience of working with colour, alternative processes (Cyanotype and Van Dyke), cibrachrome, black and white printing in medium and large formats.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have a commitiment to the accessibility and the development of Photography/Arts and have demonstrated this by: initiating new projects, being a member of a community sub committee and supporing other projects. In addition I am a member of Her Camera Has Wings (Women's Photography Group), the group has enabled me to experiment with new practices and ideas and also contributing to the devlopment of women's photography.
AWARDS
NOV 95: Received funding from the British Council, The Princes Trust Business Fund and a Go and See Grant, to assist me with presenting a lecture in Bratislava (Slovakia) during the Month of Photography
Sept 95: Attended the National Photography Conference with the assistance of Photography Bursary from East Midlands Arts
Mar 94: East Midlands Arts and Princes Trust funded a visit to Prague and Bratislava to enable me to make links with other women photographers.
Jun 93: Her Camera Has Wings received East Midlands Arts production grant to support the touring exhibition for "Beyond the Portrait", 1992.
Apr 93: Derby Photography Festival awarded Her Camera Has Wings a grant to produce an installation piece for "Beyond the Portrait", 1992.
June 92: EARP Leagacy fund was awarded by Derby University to support me with my final degree work.
Sept 91: Derby Photography Festival awarded Her Camera Has Wings an exhibition grant to produce work for Beyond the Landscape 1991.
