Her Camera Has WIngs is a group of women photographers based in Derby. The role of the group is to support members to produce work, offer discussion sessions, and organise workshops and events together. The members each have their own concerns within photography and each individual has much experience in photography and working with people. The group see support as being fundamental to being able to produce creative work where people are often alienated by institutions or left to work on their own. By offering an open access event to the Internet, we are hoping that women will take the opportunity to get to know the medium in friendly and supportive environments.
