IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP TO MENTAL WELLBEING AND CREATIVITY |

My sleep is important to me because it refreshes me, and it helps me to process the weirdness and melee of the day.
Sometimes I will dream a lot and sometimes not at all, my sleep patterns vary, and so, therefore, do my dreams.
My dreams vary oh so much also.
Sometimes they will be playful, and be plentiful in pink fluffy bunnies, and massive landscapes that are beautiful but make no geological sense.
My inspiration for a large percentage of my artwork comes from dreams.
My dreams project a metaphorical way of looking at everything, as my mind likes metaphor.
I'm sure this isn't normal or natural, but when I get an experience and close my eyes random thoughts come to the fore, and project themselves.
Nine times out of ten that's how I make my images.
However, the random images on the inside of my eyes are three dimensional, and, as yet, I have neither the funds nor the time to make large 3d blue crabs legs and sinkholes etc etc. |
