BULLYING |
Do you think it is right to be bullied or to be a bully?
If someone has witnessed bullying or have been bullied would you tell someone?
"I was in the park with my friends - there were four of us altogether all aged 9-11. A gang of about 16 youths aged from 14 -16 began to pick on us, however there was also a child of about 4 yrs old with the gang."
There was a fight, and me and my friends got hurt - mostly cuts and bruises. We had a go at self defence and Tai Kwon Do, and it worked a bit, but we still got hurt.
What we couldn't understand was that there were adults in the park who witnessed the fight but were afraid to get involved.
The older boy gang leader didn't fight, but stood leaning against a tree smirking.
I think I had the had the right to use self defence.
Do you think it helped to fight back in this case? What else could they have done? |
